Engineering profession and You.

Engineering is a difficult major, it requires a considerable amount of time and energy... but the rewards are worth it. You have wisely chosen a field that promises a challenging and lucrative future. So it is imperative to establish ties with the old guards in the profession. Networking is a must nowadays in our profession. In the past it used to be you get a good G.P.A. and that was enough for a good job. Because of the competition a good C.P.A. is not enough. We are at a stage where it is mostly who do you know or who your friend knows to get a job.

Membership in the ADIHA offers you a variety of challenges As a member, you will automatically receive our bi-monthly news-letter; participate in all the activities like the P.E.'s program, the monthly lecture, the family's picnic day and so on. ADIHA conferences, workshops, symposia, technical lectures enable you to work with bright engineers in many fields working in private, city and government agencies... no matter how new you are to your career; you can actually join the experts as they shape the future of our community and the world.

There is much to be gained in being part of an association and seeing the hard work involved in planning events. Few other associations in our community present as many opportunities to nurture your career. Whatever your level of participation, you can't afford to be without membership in the ADIHA.
